The Gallery at Queen’s Park is hosting a new exhibition, History in Relief, running Dec. 4 to 22 and then again from Jan. 8 to 26.

The exhibition will feature work from the Arts Council of New Westminster’s permanent collection, a series of intricate wood relief cuts by Raymond Taylor. The woodcuts, which were previously on display at the Queen’s Park Care Centre, depict a variety of iconic local landmarks, scenes and events.

The gallery is open Wednesdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursdays through Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Note that it’s also closed for the holiday season between Dec. 23 and Jan. 7.

The exhibition is presented by the arts council and the Queen’s Park Healthcare Foundation.
