Poetry fans, take note.

Poetic Justice runs regular poetry reading sessions on Sundays from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Heritage Grill, 447 Columbia St.

Coming up this weekend (Sunday, Nov. 3) is a session with guest host Stephen Karr, featuring Carol Johnson and Kyle Hawke.

The sessions are on every Sunday, except holiday weekends, so the next session is Sunday, Nov. 17. That will feature Candice James, the city’s poet laureate emerita, who’s launching her new book of poetry, Rithimus Aeternam. That session will also feature music by Enrico Renz.

All Poetic Justice sessions include an open mic, plus prizes, trivia and writing prompts, and admission is free. You can follow the group at www.facebook.com/groups/poeticjusticepnw/ to stay on top of all the news.
