Enjoying dinner and a show just got a little easier, thanks to a downtown New Westminster partnership.

From now until Oct. 25, when you buy four tickets to the Arts Club on Tour production of The Piano Teacher at Anvil Centre, you’ll get a coupon for $10 off dinner at Piva Modern Italian Restaurant – also located at Anvil Centre.

“Piva Modern Italian features farm fresh ingredients, traditional Italian cooking and exceptionally prepared food and drink with a modern approach,” a press release says.

Best of all, it’s a quick walk (or elevator ride) up to the third floor to get to the theatre.

The Piano Teacher, which won the 2017 Jessie Richardson Award for Outstanding Original Script, tells the story of Erin, a concert pianist, who slowly finds her way back into life after the death of her husband – thanks to Elaine, a piano teacher, and Tom, a contractor. It stars Megan Leitch as Erin, with Kamyar Pazandeh as Tom and Caitriona Murphy as Elaine.

It’s playing at the Anvil Centre Theatre on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. Buy through www.ticketsnw.ca or call 604-521-5050. (Tickets must be purchased by Oct. 25 to qualify for the deal.)
