Love film? Check out the work of New Westminster Secondary School students in an upcoming event at Massey Theatre.

The N Dub Film Club is holding a screening event on Monday, May 27 on the big screen at Massey Theatre.

Students from grades 10 through 12 will show films created during their school year, covering topics including climate change, mortality, friendship and a humorous take on student life. The event will be MC'd by local author JJ Lee, and it will include a Q&A session with the filmmakers.

The fun runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and it’s presented by the film club, Massey Theatre, New West Film Fest and the Arts Council of New Westminster.

It's free, but donations (tax-deductible) to the Arts Council of New Westminster will be welcomed. See www.artscouncilnewwest.org (under News) for details.
