Are you an artist with work to share?
Artists in the Boro is accepting applications from emerging and established artists who’d like to show work in the Art in the Atrium gallery space at Queensborough Community Centre. Groups of three or more local artists are invited to submit a proposal for an exhibition of about six weeks’ duration.
Art in the Atrium exhibitions can be viewed any time the community centre is open (Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.).
Preference will be given to proposals that incorporate a central theme, and all artwork must be appropriate for family viewing.
Artists can apply by May 10 for an exhibition to run from July 27 to Sept. 7, and by Sept. 6 for an exhibition to run from Nov. 16 to Jan. 4.
