Grocery stores across Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley report new staff COVID cases

More employees of the Real Canadian Superstore and Shoppers Drug Mart employed at stores located across the Lower Mainland have recently tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

Loblaw Companies Ltd, the parent company of Real Canadian Superstore updated its COVID-19 employee case listings April 28, 29, and 30 indicating the following new cases:

  • Real Canadian Superstore, 8195-120th Street, Delta: The last day the team member worked was on April 23
  • Shoppers Drug Mart, 7538 120th Street, Surrey: The last day either of the two infected team members worked was on April 18 and 25
  • Real Canadian Superstore, 14650 - 104th Avenue, Surrey: Multiple team members infected
  • Real Canadian Superstore, 7550 King George Boulevard, Surrey: The last day any of the three infected team members worked was on April 19, 23 and 25
  • Real Canadian Superstore, 32136 Lougheed Highway, Mission: The last day the team member worked was on April 23
  • Real Canadian Superstore, 2855 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford: The last day the team member worked was on April 24
  • Real Canadian Superstore, 45779 Luckakuck Way, Chilliwack: The last day any of the four infected team members worked was on April 19, 25, 26 and 27

All of the above stores are located within the Fraser Health authority, but none have been closed down or are listed as public exposure sites.

While T&T Supermarket is owned by Loblaw, the Canadian Asian grocery chain lists its COVID-19 cases separately on its own site, but there have been no new cases in the last few days to report.
