1. Take in all the action at the Circus Festivus 2019 on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at River Market. The Social Circus Foundation, in collaboration with the Vancouver Circus School and River Market, are hosting this all-ages holiday event that includes circus performances (happening every half hour), face painters, magicians, a visit from Santa, balloon animal artists, juggling and aerial silk workshops and more. 4. Join Scrooge on his haunted Christmas Eve adventure and be prepared to laugh, cry and be enchanted when the WONDERHEADS Christmas Carol hits the Massey Theatre stage. This whimsical re-imagining of the holiday classic is brought to life with masks, puppets, music and theatrical invention. 5. Join Peach Cobblah for a wintry wonderland at the Solstice Pride Ball, which also includes performances by Jaylene Tyme and Celestial Seasons, and queer dance party love from DJ O Show.
