Community Conversation, with the New West Hospice Society. Join MP Peter Julian, MLA Judy Darcy and Mayor Jonathan Cote in a discussion on making New Westminster the next Compassionate City, where death is no longer hidden or whispered about, where people know what to say and do, and where residents can die with dignity and family members and friends can grieve. St. Aidan’s Presbyterian Church is holding two magic shows with John Kaplan, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., 1320 Seventh Ave. Concession available before and after the shows.
