Breakfast cravings can now go fulfilled all day long at Bruncheria, a brunch-centric new cafe in New Westminster.
Taking over the space formerly occupied by Coffee Bar, Bruncheria recently opened up its doors at 656 Columbia Street. Coffee Bar, which launched in the retail space of the Trapp + Holbrook condo building in Old Town New West in the spring of 2016.
Launched this May in the 1200-square-foot space, Bruncheria is a daytime only cafe (open daily 7:30 am to 3:30 pm) serving up an array of breakfasty eats like hearty meat-and-eggs breakfast plates to breakfast sandwiches, and, of course, avocado toast.
Sandwiches are actually pretty key to Bruncheria. They’ve got grilled cheese covered with a classic, and also both an Avocado Grilled Cheese and a Scrambled Eggs Grilled Cheese on the menu. Plus they’ve got what they’re calling “Probably the Best Sandwich Ever” which has two sunny side up eggs on a chicken breast topped with crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and their signature sauce, all served up on a ciabatta bun.
For the more lunch-y side of Bruncheria, the cafe has a dozen selections, ranging from a classic ham and cheese to more hearty stacks such as smoked pork with Swiss cheese or roasted chicken with avocado and cheese.
