Mister Bentley was on a roll when he attended a Halloween paw-ty in New West.

Social media darling Mister Bentley the bulldog donned a burger and fries costume when he attended Bosley’s Thanks for Giving Halloween Paw-ty on Saturday. The popular pooch has 351,000 followers on Instagram.

“We raised $1,177 for the shelter, and everyone had a great time,” said Bosley’s owner Karima Jivraj in an email to the Record. “Everyone had a good time, and it was nice to see the dogs in costume.”

Jivraj, who owns Bosley’s by PetValu in Columbia Square, held the Oct. 26 party to raise money for New Westminster Animal Services and Hug A Bull Advocacy and Rescue Society.  In addition to a guest appearance from Mister Bentley, the fundraiser featured a barbecue, a bake sale and a chance to have photos taken with Mister Bentley.

All proceeds from the event will be split evenly between the two charities.
