National Cupcake Day comes to New West

Save the Date - Feb. 29 (and earlier)
Cupcake Day
Sounds like a win-win: Royal City residents are invited to drop by businesses participating in National Cupcake Day to support the New Westminster Animal Shelter by buying some tasty treats.

What is it?
A number of local businesses are taking part in National Cupcake Day on Monday, Feb. 29, which raises awareness and funds to support animals that are abused, abandoned, neglected or no longer wanted. In the days leading up to National Cupcake Day, several New West businesses are offering yummy events and providing cupcakes and treats to customers (by donation) to raise funds for the cause.

Where’s the money raised locally going?
