Women’s Voice magazine is presenting an upcoming event in New Westminster.

A free women’s health show is being held on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia St. The two-day event includes lectures by naturopathic doctors, physicians and registered dieticians who specialize in the holistic support of women through every stage in life.

A press release about the third annual Women’s Health Show says physicians and contributors to Women’s Voice magazine will provide health information, trends and tips on a variety of topics including managing stress, nutrition/detoxification, aging and more.

“The Women’s Health Show is full of information and education,” Karlene Karst, a nutritionist and educator with Women’s Voice magazine, said in a press release. “It’s also very interactive… The people who come here not only get a chance to talk to the doctors and nutritionists, but they also get to try out products and ask questions about their health and how they can incorporate some of these ideas into their life.”

Karst will be offering cooking demonstrations on how to incorporate more plants into their diet and showing attendees how to make delicious, healthy breakfasts to jumpstart their day.
