The Winter’s Tale is now playing in Queen's Park

A lost princess, a rebellious prince, a foolish shepherd and a sly pickpocket are just some of the colourful characters in Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, now playing at the Queen’s Park bandshell.

Produced by the Shadows and Dreams Theatre Company, the play follows the story of King Polixines and the consequences of his jealous act. The Winter’s Tale runs at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, July 29 and 30; and Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 5 and 6.

Curtains rise rain or shine. Admission is free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and a picnic and make an afternoon of it.
